I always thought I was going to spend my life in an office environment. I tried that and it wasn't for me. Political science and macroeconomics are not always as exciting as they may sound.As one spark settles, a new spark ignites.Quitting my old job, taking a chance, and going in a new direction was the best career decision I've ever made.Today I am a firefighter🔥, with a specialty in underwater rescue diving. I spend my days helping people, when they need it the most. Most firefighters don't have an academic background such as myself, but I believe there's no such thing as an education that makes you weaker. I've learned that all skills are transferable, and I've learned that having passion for the work that you do is an incredible privilege.
