K2 Data Systems, Inc. recently merged with Verus and now have offices in Concord (CA), Denver (CO), Boise (ID), Reno (NV), Albany (OR) and Seattle (WA). We can now offer a wider array of services, including automation, controls, process engineering and design, and expanded consulting to add to our existing SCADA and business information systems capability. Our focus is still on solutions to meet the needs surrounding industrial control and business systems, with an emphasis on bridging the two. We utilize a number of different products, including those from Wonderware, Inductive Automation, Siemens, Rockwell, and Microsoft to develop systems which fit the needs of their customers. We are experts with MES, HMIs, Historians, custom .NET and web applications, Microsoft’s SQL Server and Reporting Services.

Based at the corporate head office in Seattle and responsible for all automation and control functions at all US and overseas Starbucks roasting plants. Coordinated capital projects across the network and was involved in the initial design of a new roasting plant.

Albany, Oregon

Project lead on many large systems integration projects for customers ranging from privately owned corporations to Fortune 500 companies. Most projects involved the Wonderware suite of products including ArchestrA System Platform, Historian, Information Server, Operations and Performance, InTouch and Enterprise Integrator.

Systems Integrators for Wonderware and Schneider Automation.

This position involved the control of the factory’s electrical and automation department, which included Siemens PLC's, and other computer controlled equipment. Experience was also obtained pertaining to the food industry, high-speed packaging, racking and shelving storage systems, storage and retrieval cranes as well as general factory and industrial equipment.

Responsible for full budget control and supervision of the Main Treatment Plant's Instrumentation Section. Extensive PLC (Mitsubishi) and SCADA experience.
