I am a Materials Engineer at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems. Responsibilities include material and failure analysis for polymer-based brake components. My education includes a M.Sc. in Materials Science from the University of Cincinnati (UC) and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering with minors in Chemistry and Nanotechnology, also from UC. My M.Sc. thesis topic involved the use of carbon nanotubes as a scaffold for hydrogen gas sensing. I am the lead author on a scientific paper and a co-author on several others. I am also a co-inventor on three patents that were the result of a collaboration between UC and the Proctor & Gamble Company. I am currently hoping to continue growing as a professional and Materials Engineer.
