Proffessional freelance project / installation manager managing FF&E projects within student accommodation, contract kitchens, education, retail and Laboratory fit-outs.

Contract kitchens

Currently overseeing the installation of fitted furniture into retail and commercial sectors such as kitchens, bedrooms, schools, laboratories and student accommodation.

Overseeing Project installations, surveying and planning for student accommodation, offices, care homes, hotels and contract kitchens.

Anything FF&E.Furniture design / sales.Project coordination / delivery.Short or long term contracts;Single site survey including for pre-start, room availability, design / progress meetings or installation issues.Overseeing full project delivery including for delivery and installation, room sign-off and managing onsite labour.

· Assist our Area Sales Managers in attending client design meetings and carrying out a full site survey.· Liaise in-house with estimating, design and procurement personnel ensuring we are providing our client with the correct design and product.· Attend and contribute to the agreement of Terms & Conditions at Pre-let /Post Tender meetings.· Manage the account including for principal contractor and client from order to completion.· Preparing project plans, programmes, and procedures. · Attending regular site meetings with the stakeholders, Project / Site Managers and Architects discussing contract, design issues, progress and targets.· Preparing health and safety documents including for Method statement and Risk assessment.· Manage the project team including subcontractors, from start to completion.· Setting up the project site prior to commencement of works including full site survey, arranging the site office / storage and booking in operatives for site inductions. · Pro-actively manage project risks and issues and minimise their impact on the project.· Ensure all variations to the contract are captured, documented and presented to the Quantity Surveyor to assist with monthly valuations. · Liaise closely with the principle contractor to ensure completed areas are signed off and discuss installation progress against programme, deliveries and forward planning. · Assist the QS in preparation of final account.· Coordinate the preparation and presentation to the client of O&M manuals.

Day to day running of a start-up business manufacturing and installing commercial, education, healthcare and domestic fitted furniture.;Marketing including for designing the company brochure, website and sales literature.Sourcing sales leads and dealing with sales enquiries by telephone and in the field.Designing fitted furniture layouts using Auto-Cad.Estimating including for preparing Tender documents.Procurement of materials and fittings. Overseeing furniture production and furniture installations.Recruiting employees and sub-contract labour.Assisting the accounts department with all financial aspects of the business.
