In my practice not only do I assess for the injured tissue I also look for the cause of the symptoms. I believe that finding the movement pattern, posture, training error, dysfunction and/or original injury that led to the present symptoms is at least as important as diagnosing the injured tissue. I treat and train my staff at Sports Centre Physiotherapy to treat the cause of an injury as well as the symptoms that brought the person into our clinic.
