As a Boyd Lab Technician, I taught undergraduate engineering students how to correctly and safely use the lab machinery. When the students are using the machinery, I am surveying their actions to ensure maximum safety of the students. In addition to this, I also utilize the lab machinery to complete job requests of the university.

In this position, I worked alongside a team of coworkers to retrieve parts from designated areas in the warehouse and kept inventory tracking to ensure the most accurate and efficient process possible.

In this position, I assisted mechanical engineering research scientists in designing experiments and collecting data regarding forensic bloodstain analysis. I did so by utilizing the pendant droplet method which took microscopic pictures of the droplets in free fall. Doing this allowed my team and I to understand how fluid mechanics inform forensics of the properties of blood samples at crime scenes.

During this experience, I worked alongside the Director of Distribution to improve the current Golden Eagle process in the Echo warehouse. This change saves a great amount of time while utilizing the resources that are available.
