Interim CFO for a listed PLC operating in the FMCG Industry - Spirit Distilling. I inherited a Company in financial distress, where it's shares had been suspended from trading on the AIM FTSE Market due to the late filing of the Financial Statements.I oversaw the completion and filing of the Audited Financial Statements and the preparation and filing of the Interim (6-month) Financial Statements enabling the suspension in the Company's trading to be lifted.Securing additional short-term funding (£1 million) enabled a full review of the operational activities of the business to be conducted whilst a permanent CFO was recruited.Supporting the Board at an AGM and an EGM to enable the Company to comply with its statutory obligations and to establish the appetite for a further fundraising completed my assignment with the appointment of a permanent CFO.
