I co-founded Motek in the nascent stages of mobile web development, when J2me applications and personalized content were in their infancy. We developed successful relationships with the world's largest telcos, device manufacturers, and major content providers.Under my leadership, we became the third largest revenue generating application developer for Blackberry with over 300 million installs of our apps and 7.5 million Daily Active Users around the world.- Bootstrapped startup to a round of angel investment which lead to a multi million dollar operation within 5 years.- Navigated the business through numerous pivotal decisions starting with localization and distribution of J2me games to product development of dozens of mobile applications, both contracted and in-house, including Screen Muncher and Color ID which had a global success of over 7.5MM DAU’s and billions of client interactions each year.- Managed the company operations including finances, budgets, cashflows, and payroll for a team of up to 15 local and remote employees. - Led a contracted engineering team to produce a beta version of our core content management software stack.- Developed an in-house content management system to distribute and report 1000+ SKU’s from dozens of developers connected to multiple carrier grade storefronts globally.- Developed in-house User Engagement Platform with analytics and push notifications to acquire, retain and engage our user base. - Prepared 5 years of Scientific Research and Experimental Research (SR&ED) Tax claims.

I worked with EA to expand the Kitchener studio and manage the facility operations and budget for six different game labels representing 60+ employees.- Completed the expansion of EA's workspace by increasing the sq. ft. by 33% via coordination with corporate facilities and the landlord.- Designed multiple expansion floor plans to accommodate varying headcounts and available space. - Managed planning of swing space for temporary relocation of teams during expansion.- Execution of lease renewal agreement with corporate facilities and landlord.- Ownership of facilities OPEX and CAPEX budgeting plan.- Local liaison between EA Kitchener and corporate IT/NetEng, Facilities, HR, Finance and Legal departments.- OIDMTC tax credit support for eligible team projects.
