Professor Colin Royse is an exceptionally gifted master of sectors, ranging from Medicine to education, and digital transformation. He has gained a unique grasp in those spaces in the international arena, with hands-on experience in The U.S. Australia, and Hong Kong. Presently, Colin is Academic Director of Custom and Professional Education, and Co-Director of the Mobile Learning Unit at the University of Melbourne. His major teaching interest is in echocardiography and clinical ultrasound and his group run University award courses in Clinical Ultrasound, Perioperative Medicine as well as simulation workshops in clinical ultrasound. He has pioneered the “Radical Flipped Classroom” education pedagogy for adult learning. His major research interests are in echocardiography, cardiac outcomes for cardiac surgery, and quality of recovery after surgery. He is the Chair of the Postoperative Quality of Recovery Scale (PostopQRS) scientific Research. It’s been said that his key strength is understanding process, and being able to convert abstract and complex concepts into Pathways. Colin has corporate planning experience through various boards and companies, and enables him to confidently participate, if not advance, strategic Board discussions. Colin is Board experienced, and available for select Board engagements.
