• Leading, supervising, managing, and providing training for a platoon of 38 Maintenance Personnel. • Managing and maintaining accountability of equipment inventory valued in excess of $5,000,000.• Generating training schedules, ensuring work orders and requests are fulfilled, writing policy and memos, and fulfilling maintenance requests for the Company and Battalion.

• Responsible for leading, maintaining accountability, and providing training of a section of 7 Maintenance Control Personnel.• Evaluate and ensure the quality of all maintenance on vehicles and equipment completed by the maintenance platoon.• Monitor the status of equipment undergoing repairs and determine the status of repair parts required to complete those repairs.• Helped manage inventory of equipment valued in excess of $3,000,000.• Served as Project Officer for the Homecoming Return of a fellow Company from Afghanistan. Involved working closely with Battalion staff and planning the logistics of returning soldiers and equipment.

• Shadowed Lieutenants and the Company Commander to learn how the unit was run and its mission.• Helped generate training schedules and classes for the Company, while learning what it means to be an Officer in the unit. • Helped maintain accountability of 48 soldiers and military vehicles and equipment valued in excess of $3,000,000.• Gained familiarization with US Army ground vehicles and maintenance procedures. Also introduced to logistical aspects of an Army organization.

• Introduced to Army Leadership and what it means to be an Army Officer over the course of a four-year program. Worked up from managing squad-sized elements of 6-12 cadets to running a company of 60-100 cadets.• Rotated through various leadership positions in order to gain a better understanding of how an Army organization is run from different levels.• Developed strong leadership and interpersonal skills, which were used to lead a diverse group of people in any setting. • Served as a role model and mentor to freshman, sophomore and junior cadets while supervising their day-to-day administration and accountability.• Worked with other senior cadets to develop plans and training for 54 cadets, as well as develop operation briefings for the Battalion staff.
