I worked in Commercial radio as presenter, producer and manager for many years.I turned to politics in 2010, being an elected Mid Devon District Councillor and working for the Conservative Party. I was elected to Devon County Council in May 2017, representing Tiverton East. I have excellent communication and organisation skills. I am now semi retired, but work part time with Radio Exe. For the past few years my "Day Job" was Editor & Client Relationship Manager at thebestof Exeter. I was also an organiser of the South West Business Expo.I was for 5 years Voluntary Press Officer for Dream-A-Way, and am now also a Trustee of three Tiverton based charities , Tiverton Museum, TCAT and TAPA.I am also Vice Chairman of the Grand Western Canal Joint Advisory Committee and the Devon Pension Board. In June 2023 I was appointed to the Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Authority.
