E&I Superintendent for the SGF area on the Nexen Kenosis project. Duties include monitoring contractors men and equipment for efficiency, manage and coordinate access for contractors, view and challenge contractor LEMS, work closely with engineering groups to supply efficient and cost effective solutions to construction issues, attend morning safety meetings to help ensure Contractors are following contractual and social responsibilities towards safety & environmental concerns.

Responsibilities - Review and report CEC code violations from vendor packages - Review and report contractor progress and work against CEC code and Harvest Specifications - Work closely with Engineering to resolve Electrical and Instrumentation design issues - Review and sign off contractor documentation

Suncor Energy in the role of Turnaround process, procedure development and optimization. I have applied my experience in this role from my previous responsibilities as Lead E&I planner and Lead Found work planner for planning and execution phases of turnarounds. With these previous roles I was responsible for:• Preparing jobs plans for scheduling, including procurement of external services, materials, package development and specialized equipment through SAP.• Constant monitoring of progress, schedule and developing reports• Working closely with contractors, engineering as well as process and reliability teams to develop and optimize plans.• Execute field walk downs for data collection.• Use and maintain equipment and facility history in currents job plans to optimize schedule and avoid job delays• Develop cost and time estimates during the execution window.My current role as Turnaround process, procedure development and optimization lead entails the following roles and responsibilities:• Package development and distribution optimization.• Found work planning optimization• SAP standardization of work plans and text• Reviewing history from previous Turnarounds, outages to create standardized task lists, work packages and attaching them to the functional location within SAP to optimize planning for future maintenance events.• Reviewing future events and creating hourly estimates within SAP for estimated VS. Planned hours• Developing and creating “How To” manuals to standardize the way our Mechanical, Piping and E&I groups plan Turnaround events.• Testing, optimizing, developing Turnaround processes and procedures to constantly improve the way we do business.

At Flint I was project superintendent for Enbridge Herschel MCC Upgrade. Here I was responsible for the coordination of man power for mechanical, civil, and electrical/instrumentation for the on schedule and on budget completion of the project in December of 2006. Set up and maintained the safety program for the site contractors, and site safety orientated all contractors on site. Inspect and QA/QC all work to CEC code and Enbridge specifications.
