As a graduate of The College of Wooster with a BA in Global Media and Digital Studies, I have developed a strong foundation in digital media production, analysis, and communication. My academic background has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to create, edit, and distribute engaging and informative content across multiple platforms and formats. In my most recent role as a Managing Editor at The Wooster Voice, the student-run newspaper of the college, I led the operation and planning of the publication, overseeing a staff of 20 and delivering print and web publications on deadline. I was also a key member of a website redevelopment team, launching a more streamlined and user-friendly site using WordPress content management system. Additionally, I contributed to the newspaper as a writer for the Art and Entertainment section, writing features, reviews, and interviews. I also gained valuable experience as a student intern at the Central States Communication Association, assisting in the planning and execution of their annual conference. I am passionate about writing and editing, and I have a keen eye for detail and accuracy. I am proficient in using various tools and software, such as WordPress, AP Stylebook, HTML, and layout design programs. I have excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, and I am able to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high standards and delivering on tight deadlines.
