Ever since I was a kid, analytics has been a passion of mine. I remember going to restaurants watching Keno numbers pop up on the screen thinking, “Okay that one’s my favorite number, that one’s digits combined equal my age, that’s the second time that number has popped up” etc. Despite being random numbers and not knowing how the game works, I was trying to figure out trends in data even at a young age. However, it was not until college that I realized data analytics was the perfect fit for me. The implementation of Excel, R, Tableau, SQL, and Python brought me the same excitement that finding random patterns in Keno did as a kid.Following this realization, I completed my MSBA at Babson while simultaneously working in a few different roles as a data analyst. Over the years, I have received a broad exposure to numerous different industries and workplace environments through my varying roles. Not only was this helpful in figuring out what I wanted to do for a career, but it has also helped me be more versatile, a quick learner and improve my communication skills. I am excited to see where analytics takes me next.
