What a great year .... working with a lovely bunch of people at Royal Papworth Hospital in Papworth Everard. The patients were also a great bunch and it was a pleasure working with them.It was a sad day on the last day of the move to the new site, the heart and sole was gone..............De-commissioning went full steam ahead. As this progressed the realisation that it was the end of 100 plus years of treating unwell people ....... here's to the next 100 years at the new site.• Achieved on-time delivery of patients between wards, theatres and other departments.• Safely drive on-site ambulance.• Maintained safe Customer Car Parks and Event parking, • Effective delivery of Post and Reports• Safe collection and delivery of path-lab samples.• Efficient delivery and collection of linen,• Safe collection and sorting of Clinical and other waste, including compacting and bailing. • Dignified movements of patients to Mortuary • Security patrols.• Decommission of site after transfer to new site including sorting and separating items for use by charity organisations in the UK and overseas and waste stream separation to reduce the impact on the environment.
