Responsible for the management of all aspects of the Edinburgh University Performance Rowing programme, from Beginner rowing and Talent ID through to coaching of International athletes.As well as directing the day to day training activists of athletes, I am also responsible for the management of key partnerships such as those with the GB Rowing Team, Scottish Rowing, SportScotland and the wider University of Edinburgh departments.Since taking the roll in 2013, I have developed a system that has resulted in 8 athletes gaining selection for Great Britain rowing teams, 4 of whom were developed through the beginner rowing programme. 2 became U23s World Champions in the Lightweight Quad, of which I was the crew coach.Edinburgh University also also achieved its first ever victory at Henley Royal Regatta in the Prince Albert Challenge in 2016.Further responsibilities include the forward planning of infrastructure developments and athlete recruitment.
