Leading Seattle University's effort to transform education experiences and outcomes through deep partnerships with K12 schools and other education partners, with an intensive focus on partnerships affiliated with the Seattle University Youth Initiative.

--Supported improved academic outcomes for Seattle University Youth Initiative (SUYI) focus-students by developing and implementing dual-capacity building practices with SUYI school and program partners--Worked to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students, community partners and parents in the SUYI area--Provided leadership and support in the development, implementation and integration of family engagement best practices in all SU-led school programs, projects and learning opportunities, while engaging neighborhood parents to make them stronger supporters and advocates for their children’s education--Managed family engagement budgets and records, contributing significant input to the data collection process of all family engagement activities--Refined and implemented family engagement portfolio with in-school partners

-Introduced and implemented the CSF Achievers Scholars program at West Seattle High School-Provided college preparatory guidance and programming through individual student meetings, bi-weekly group meetings, and monthly/quarterly workshops and events on college applications, personal statements, financial aid, scholarships, campus visits, community service opportunities to low-income Juniors and Seniors at West Seattle High School-Conducted outreach to high school students about the significance of higher education, College Bound and CSF Scholarships, steps to prepare for college, leadership, bullying, self-esteem, and making healthy life choices through public speaking events-Tracked and evaluated student grade trends, progress throughout college application process, and in the mentor relationships to offer better program services -Managed and provided oversight for mentor recruitment, background screening, reporting and selection for mentor matches-Co-led the Seattle Achievers College Exploration Planning Committee, spearheading logistics and coordination for a Spring Break College Tour Trip for 50 students and 6 staff in 2015

-Helped revamp a long standing event, the Kids Bike Swap, into the new re-envisioned Kids Bike-o-Rama, working with many community partners and with all the departments at Bike Works, to get bikes in the hands of over 150 youth in 2013. -Took on a new Bands-for-Bike Works project with enthusiasm to produce multiple very successful music events, including two Soul Benefit shows that raised over $5,000 to support Bike Works mission and raise awareness for Bike Works programs in the community. -Effectively executed sustainable fundraising and community engagement efforts through assisting with donor cultivation events, providing logistical support for the Bike Works Annual Auction and other fundraising events, leading in planning multiple community events, and organizing volunteers for all special events. -Managed donor, volunteer and email databases to ensure accurate donor records, coordinating Bike Works email newsletter, mailing appeals, and other donor and volunteer communication and cultivation.
