County Training ManagerLancashire County Council (Careers Service) (Uk) Aug 1989 - Apr 1990I was the first person appointed to this newly created position. Responsibilities included the identification of training needs and implementation of an annual training programme for two hundred Careers Service staff. I was also responsible for planning and organising the county higher education conferences which approximately ten thousand people attended annually. Whilst in this post I also designed and implemented a human resource development programme. -

Also responsible for managing, organising and leading an in-district training programme for ten staff and having some input to the countywide training programme. The post involved deputising for the District Careers Officer when required, and formed an integral part of the District Management Team.
