Colin Anawaty is an entrepreneur, angel investor, and lifelong technologist who has pursued startups in advertising, entertainment, finance, and healthcare industries across the coastlines. He is currently the co-founder and chief product officer at First Dollar, a technology company that builds healthcare benefits infrastructure. Before First Dollar, Colin co-founded and led the product efforts of the care coordination platform Patient IO from inception to acquisition by athenahealth in 2016. At athenahealth, Colin served as executive director for 3 years overseeing value-based care initiatives until its private-equity merger with GE Healthcare. While raising a family of two boys and an English Bulldog from their home in Austin, Colin gives back as a Techstars mentor, policy advocate when called to duty, and a guest lecturer at the University of Texas.
