Nothing pleases me more than to see employees faces light up when they describe the improvements they have brought to their organisation.Invariably they exude pride when they explain what they've achieved in redesigning processes to make them more effective and efficient.I believe that employees everywhere should be offered the opportunity and encouraged to contribute to improvement at their place of work (including improving their own job) and should be given all the education and support they need to do this.I believe that leaders everywhere, should challenge themselves to a create and develop a cultural environment which respects, nurtures and supports the improvement contribution all employees can make.My view is that involvement in continuous improvement and innovation enhances employee engagement and satisfaction, creates better work, supports the community and develops our economy as a whole.Hence I support the United Nations global objectives of Quality Education and Better Jobs.Since 2001 I have trained and coached professionals in more than 100 client organisations and together we have delivered higher levels of employee engagement, multi-million pound cost savings, improvements in quality, speedier processes and better customer satisfaction.For any particular situation I select and apply the best and most practical elements of Lean, Six Sigma and the latest management thinking as a basis for achieving performance improvement.
