I am a behaviour change actuary and may be unique in that respect. I started off in the world of health and wellbeing in South Africa, challenged by the ever-increasing cost of fixing people who had become ill due to their unhealthy behaviours. Through my six years at Habits at Work where I got to develop the BRATLAB research database with my friend and partner, Hanlie van Wyk, I discovered how sustained behaviour change is possible, and valuable to companies that achieve it.
