People Rocket brings a fresh, innovative, design-fueled approach to increase the performance of people, teams and cultures. - Progression from Designer over 2 yearsPast projects include: - Co-designed, co-facilitated, and coached for a a multi-industry accelerator program to explore the future of work. Participants use ethnographic methods to uncover the problems of work within their organizations. Then address them in sustainable and human centered ways, with an equity lens and a focus on sharing knowledge. - Co-designed a toolkit to support strategy and learning for top-level executives in transition at a global sportswear brand. Coordinated a design team which included experience design, visual design, and content area talent. Collaborated with internal stakeholders to create a product that would fit with the company culture and needs. - Co-designed, co-facilitated, and coached a multi-month learning experience for directors and senior directors at a consumer technology company. Participants learned human centered design and business model development, and applied these skills working on cross-departmental teams to design new products and features.

Consulted as an independent experience designer, with a focus on learning and behavior design. Worked closely with clients and users to solve talent and performance management problems. Projects included:- Co-designed a learning program with Susan Cain’s Quiet Revolution for leaders and influencers. Leveraged variety of media to deliver just-in-time learning, with a focus on sustainable behavior change. Participants learned to lead and contribute to diverse teams, while building self knowledge. As part of the project, designed specs and collaborated with developers to create an interactive learning system. Participating companies include Thomson Reuters and Twilio.

San Francisco Bay Area

- Conducted ethnographic interviews and observation inside a global technology company. Collaborated with other researchers to prepare raw data for design. Synthesized needs and developed user personas.- Coached teams from Bay Area companies in the design thinking process. Taught rapid brainstorming and low-fi prototyping techniques to develop testable solutions.- Consulted on prototype testing and redevelopment of a Performance Management system. Worked with a global technology company to turn ethnographic research and hi-fidelity product ideas into lo-fi prototypes for rapid testing.

- Adapted research based materials on diversity and inclusion into an interactive coaching module. Employed behavior design techniques to create sustained behavior change. Coded the module in Clojure / Lisp.- Designed a multi-part Diversity and Inclusion assessment. Including graphical reporting to show employee progress over time and improvement opportunities.

Sikkim, India

Developed and taught a multi-level ESL program at a Buddhist monastic college and graduate school, with students ages 16-45. Worked with stakeholders and students to assess student needs as basis for design. Designed curriculum and designed and implemented rubric-graded placement tests, with oral and written components.

Greater New York City Area

TAXI paired college students studying foreign languages with immigrant high school students. College students experienced the languages they study outside the classroom. High school students got support in their integration to NYC, and improved their English. They also got the opportunity to feel that their language and their culture—who they are—is of value in their new home.My role:- Co-founded the organization, and co-developed strategy and program design.- Developed and implemented training sessions, placement rubrics, and feedback / assessment forms. Also designed the session and semester level schedules.
