I am a guitarist, instrumentalist, composer, arranger, audio engineer, and producer working in the Denver area. I have a background in rock, jazz, blues, and avant-garde. I studied privately with local Denver virtuosos: Miguel Espinoza, Mitch Chmara, Michael Lancaster, and Reggie Berg. I spent two years at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts completing the core music training they require and studying with Jon Damian, Thaddeus Hogarth, Paul Stiller, and many others. I transferred to the University of Colorado Denver where I am completing a degree in Recording Arts/Audio Engineering. I currently have a multiple ongiong projects, the most notable being an indie/experimental-rock endeavor under the name The Ursidae. The project mixes elements of rock, jazz, folk, flamenco, and other various styles. The Ursidae's first full length LP "Flight" was released on September 1st 2017. I also work as a songwriter producer with the goal of getting music published professionally. I primarily assume the role of the engineer/producer (which entails arranging, mixing, and mastering) but also have a role in the writing process as well. My other ventures involve collaborations with other artists, interest in scoring films, TV, and commercials, and also working as a guitarist for live performances and sessions. I am open to any style, and have the desire to collaborate with musicians of all backgrounds.
