I was the Chief Marketing Officer of the company. I was hired at the start of the Great Recession to help turn the business around for our Private Equity owners. I partnered with a new CEO and legacy CFO, and together we tripled revenue focusing on direct to consumer strategies in addition to our existing wholesale business.During my time at AE I created an internal marketing team that handled all creative and most media from scratch. The team was very ROI driven and we tracked KPI metrics religiously.My marketing background includes: brand development and guidelines creation, growth strategies including new market opportunities and partnerships, customer satisfaction, segmentation, database, catalog marketing, and successful customer acquisition & retention efforts across all channels. My digital marketing expertise includes email, paid search, affiliates, referral, video, DSP, social, organic, remarketing, SEO, content creation and many other tactics. I also have traditional experience including TV, video, catalogs, magazines, newspaper, outdoor, radio and public relations. I have created and sustained partnerships with the Nicklaus Company, MLB, Parsons School of Design, professional athletes, NBCA, MSOE and Soles4souls to name a few.I have published a book of customer stories for Allen Edmonds and I have been quoted in various articles for the WSJ, Forbes, NY Times and other major publications.
