Started off with PHP and MySQL website development, and progressed to ASP.NET and MS SQL Server (VB.Net 1.1 back then). Decided VB.Net wasn't for me so moved on to C#. Built a few e-commerce websites which went on to turnover over £1m+ per year.

Worked as a self employed web developer using PHP and MySQL mostly. Historically had used Perl and flat files but soon moved away from that. Built a few websites including some e-commerce, but decided that I preferred to do the hands on development and not marketing and accounts, so decided to move back to full time employment.

Started off working in tech support but soon moved in to the web development team for Software Warehouse as it was back then. I built the intranet and the company websites, including the corporate websites for B2B orders.On the launch of Jungle.com and the merger of Software Warehouse and Jungle.com, I became project manager for a while but kept involved in the development of the corporate websites, and projects on Jungle.com itself.
