The agriculture, industrial and heavy machinery industry is on the brink of a massive revolution towards complete automation and driverless systems. Colin has devoted his career to bringing innovative solutions to equipment manufactures. In 2022 Colin structured a merger of 2 leading autonomy companies to form Mach where he serves as CEO. 2016 Colin founded Smart Ag which developed the first aftermarket driverless system to automate tractors. After funding and growing the company, he led Smart Ag successfully through an exit to Raven Industries (NYSE:RAVN) in 2019. Raven was then acquired by CNH Industrial in 2021 (NYSE:CNHI) which has led to many of the technologies developed at Smart Ag becoming foundational elements of CNH's autonomy products. Prior, Colin invented a product called TrackTill to reduce soil compaction which was commercialized and licensed to Yetter Manufacturing. Colin also serves as a Co-director for the Ag Startup Engine, Board Member for Jackrabbit Equipment and Chairman of the Board for Haber Technologies while advising various Startups in the Ag space.
