When I was 16 I worked at a sporting good store in Falmouth Ma. My best friends father, mother and their 3 sons owned/operated the store. I learned: how to lead and influence, how to buy/ sell/ and market products, communicate with different personalities and identify the decision maker. It was here I learned experimentation and failure is part of success, but not taking risk provides zero to negative gain. At 18, we opened a second store as an experiment. My best friend and I were responsible for all aspects of running the business. Sales, marketing, finance, operations and hiring. Through reflection I realize this experience had contributed to shape my career and fuels my professional passions and gratification for building, scaling and managing business for success. Today, I have over 20 years of experience in building, scaling and managing high performance sales teams for early-stage startups and established companies. I lead by example. I believe that problem solving requires creativity and strategic thinking. I value integrity, honesty and professionalism, my time and yours. I believe in enneagram's for building high performance teams, work-life balance and rewarding overachievers. I like to win, but have learned that consistent winning is achieved through strong team cohesion, positive encouragement and well planned execution.
