Leads the learning and organizational development function for the City of Boise. Designs, develops and implements Citywide training and organizational development strategy, programs and services. Continuously cultivates an internal culture of engagement, growth and innovation to enhance our organization's capacity to serve Citizens of Boise and create a fulfilling employee experience. Practice areas include organizational health and effectiveness, leadership capacity, change management, performance improvement, performance management, internal consulting services.

Boise, Id

Develops, coordinates and delivers Citywide leadership development and training programs. Advises and collaborates on organizational development efforts, supports change management, facilitates team building activities, and individual development plans. Supports the coordination of Citywide employee training programs, which includes the development and delivery of training and improving the overall quality of all training.Acts as an internal consultant for a variety of human resource and organizational development needs across all departments.

Portland

As a founding team member, was involved in every aspect of the creation and success of this revolutionary new model for higher education. Worked on idea conception, program development, marketing strategies and strategic planning. Helped with the planning and implementation of what become the most successful crowdfunding campaign in Oregon history. Supported branding and messaging efforts, planned events, created web based content for our application process. Recruited, reviewed, and selected students. Designed student experiences, planned and facilitated community events and developed trainings, programs, and systems for students, staff and community members. Designed, coordinated and delivered every aspect of a one of a kind orientation week meant to engage and prepare students for their two year program.

Portland, Oregon Area

Designed, coordinated, and delivered training for diverse range of client orgnaizations. Worked as an in house trainer for Synergo. Responsible for everything from initial client contact, to needs assessment, program development, program delivery, testing, assessment, and follow-up. As a lead facilitator, coordinated teams of facilitators to deliver team building and personal development experiences workshops and trainings to a wide range of groups including: At risk-youth, graduate school programs, firefighters, paramedics in training, youth camps, non-profit management, city organizations, school groups, and families. Builds and implements specialty programs, challenge courses, policies and procedures manuals, and risk management protocols. Lead workshops at several conferences and also received extensive training, education and experience regarding adult experiential learning, organizational leadership, emotional intelligence, communication, messaging, program development, testing and assessment etc.

Camp Orkila

While working for the YMCA or Greater Seattle my duties were to recruit, hire, train, supervise and mentor 30 seasonal Outdoor Education instructors in a residential camp setting.Worked with the leadership team to design and implement the daily routines of camp, provide feedback and coaching through out the season, design and change curriculum and programming, and support instructors by assisting or filling in to teach when necessary. Served as a liaison between the Y and school groups, including training and orienting parent and high school volunteers, handling logistics and communication before during and after the camp visit.

Camp Orkila

As CIT director I was responsible for working with the other directors to conceive, plan, and deliver two intensive 4-week leadership development experiences for motivated 16--17 year olds in a residential camp setting. In my role I developed vision, designed curriculum, lead workshops, and community building activities. I also worked directly with the teens, training, supervising and mentoring them as future counselors and leaders.

Tacoma, Wa

Passages is part of the nationally recognized orientation process for new students at the University of Puget Sound. The Passages experience is centered around a 3 day outdoor adventure experience for all new students. As a passages leader I was responsible for leading a small group, acting as mentor and guide during our experience and throughout the school year. I also worked as part of the passages team to plan and run the entire experience as well as help with orientation activities on campus.
