Outdoor Science Camp Coordinator
CurrentLead, manage, and implement week-long educational environmental program that meets CA Next Generation Science Standards for Orange County Title I 5th grade students. Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships, while positively motivating and managing five group activity leaders and other volunteers in program objectives. Instructs student campers on topics about wetland ecology, habitats, food webs, plant ecology, wildlife adaptations, geology, archaeology, paleontology, astronomy, and Native American culture. Responsible for overall supervision of student campers and maintains open communication with supervisors, government officials, and on-site teachers regarding all student issues and solutions.
