As a member of the Hosted Operations Group at Viewpoint Software, I work on a team that is responsible for managing over 2000 Windows virtual machines running on an off-site cloud infrastructure that is distributed across several data centers in multiple countries.These VMs provide database storage as well as a suite of remote ERP software that is specialized to meet the needs of our customers.My responsibilities on this team include spinning up new environments and tearing down ones which are no longer needed, installing, publishing, and troubleshooting issues with specialized software installed on remote application hosts, and writing, modifying, and evaluating PowerShell scripts to better automate our processes.Recently, I did much of the setup work for our new East Coast data center, including remotely configuring our software defined network, spinning up a file server and adding it to our distributed file share, and building out templates for our customer VMs.

Ensure that my team is delivering a quality software product through a combination of white and black box testing, using tools such as Postman and SQL Server Management Studio, and a mix of exploratory testing and test automation methods.

I recently completed a contract as the sole developer on a Java based program for an independent radio network. This project required extensive use of Swing and of scheduling libraries. Consultant (Independent Contractor) for Tap Tap Done. To date I have completed two contracts for Tap Tap Done - first I was tasked with the creation of a complete working sports league simulator in high-quality Java code, with console based output. This contract was successfully completed on July 15th, 2013. I then was given a second contract, this time to adapt the work done in the original contract into the Ruby language, which I did, making several small refinements and improvements to the simulator in the process. This contract was completed in late October.
