As the General Manager of Lake Harriet Pizza, I'm responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations. This includes managing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers.

As the founder of History Through Fiction, I coordinated and publicized the launch of a literary press. As the editor, I work to review, track, and analyze submissions, conduct developmental edits, copy edits, and proofreads, and communicate with authors, freelancers, and contractors. As the publisher I work to manage social media accounts and build target audience through outreach, advertise and promote authors and their titles, manage company website, oversee and track company budget, write and negotiate contracts, create and manage production schedules, and represent the company at events and conferences.

I am the author of four historical fiction novels, one textbook, and one online educational course. My work focuses on Minnesota and surrounding regions during the complex transitional period as land was transferred from Native peoples to American hands. My experience as an author includes but is not limited to writing, research, publishing, web design, blogging, social media management, marketing, curriculum development, and public speaking.

As a para educator I work with students in order to assist them with classes, assignments, and test-taking.

As a Book Boss for Blue Pen, I rely on my years of experience as an author and publisher to coordinate Blue Pen's services and guide clients through the process. Serving as a point of contact during a client's entire time with Blue Pen, I use my know-how of the industry inside and out, to make sure clients are on the best path to achieve their writing and publishing goals.

As the boy's basketball coach at Coon Rapids Middle School I instruct student-athletes in the game of basketball. In this role I organize and facilitate practices, manage games, foster a positive learning environment, and supervise student behavior.

As a Podcast Producer for the New Books Network, I perform the post-production on recorded interviews provided by our hosts. This includes sound design and audio engineering. I also upload the finalized audio to a content management system along with all of the corresponding metadata.
