"I have been a full time working artist since dinosaurs roamed the earth. For most of the last 50 years I painted and sold my original paintings in many different ways. In the 1990's I noticed the potential of the internet and the emerging technology of fine art inkjet printing, and I jumped aboard. I became a self-publishing print-on-demand artist. The Fine Art Trade Guild saw that 'giclee printmaking' was going to change the art publishing industry forever and invited me to chair a committee to explore the subject. We developed new Guild Standards to recognise the sea change. I continued to serve as a director of the Guild.In 2006 the Guild elected me onto the executive and from 2008 to 2010 I served as Master of the Guild.My first book 'How to Make a Living as an Artist' introduced aspiring artists to the professional fine art world.I think that I am getting the hang of it now."
