As a leader in a Sussex-wide role within the joint Chief Delivery and Strategy Officer and Chief Primary Care and Integration Officer Directorate, I am responsible for overseeing the transformation of key healthcare services across the region. This includes Urgent Treatment Centres, Front door of A&E redesign, and Non-emergency Patient transport services. I collaborate closely with providers, partners, and service users to develop integrated services, using evidence-based approaches and population health management. Additionally, I provide technical leadership, ensure effective engagement, and navigate complex environments to develop solutions under challenging conditions. I maintain strong relationships with regulators and lead negotiations to align commissioning with NHS objectives and local priorities. In addition to these responsibilities, I lead and manage a team, contributing to corporate leadership within the organization.

As the Integrated Urgent Care Programme Director I am responsible for the delivery of the Urgent Care across NHS Sussex as part of the Integrated Care System. This includes the procurement, mobilisation and oversight of 111 Clinical Assessment Service across Sussex, Out of Hours Visiting, Urgent Treatment Centres and Improved Access Hubs. Alongside this I the commissioning lead for 999 (Ambulance) and I was responsible for Patient Transport Services, ensuring they meet the needs of the patients within Sussex.I am responsible for programme monitoring and scrutiny, establishing and maintaining robust programme management processes (including reporting), supporting key governance forums, facilitating the resolution of strategic risks, issues and interdependencies, carrying a portfolio of transformational deliverables and providing flexible targeted delivery support.

Alongside this I was responsible for the implementation of new project software to support the outcomes of the review.I am responsible for programme monitoring and scrutiny, establishing and maintaining robust programme management processes (including reporting), supporting key governance forums, facilitating the resolution of strategic risks, issues and interdependencies, carrying a portfolio of transformational deliverables and providing flexible targeted delivery support.

As the 111 Programme Director responsible for the delivery of the procurement of 111 Clinical Assessment Service across Sussex as part of the Clinical Commissioning Groups. Programme manager responsible for the delivery of large scale transformational programmes generated through the CCG or ‘Coastal Care’ focussing on two current transformation programmes - front door of urgent care and community-based care.

• Managed IT activities using a number of tools such as – plans, reporting, financial controls and risk manage the fulfilment of IT applications• Delivered the development and launch of several key IT systems including e-income, Business Integration and Electronic Document Records Management system

• Resolved first line software and hardware support for all computer systems in West Sussex Fire Brigade, including fire control• Conducting appraisals and feasibility studies for new IT proposals, such as networks and software• Development of a five year IT strategy for the Fire Brigade• Delivered the Computer in Cabs project for the Fire Service, in all fire appliances to enable appropriate risk information to be available at all times
