- Worked as a Project E.I.T. on various compressor station, gas plant and battery projects. - Engineering duties included completing/coordinating project deliverables such as approving equipment vendors, equipment and pipe sizing, specification and datasheet development, and equipment and material requests for quotes.- Responsible for development and completion of full drawing sets including P&ID’s, PFD’s, piping layouts, site plans, valve lists, tie-in lists and line lists. - Prepared full revisions of equipment design specifications per design codes and AER Directives to be used on current projects and future designs.

- Worked as a Piping Engineer-In-Training on the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) of the Imperial Oil Aspen Solvent Assisted SAGD project. - Responsible for creation and maintenance of the line designation table including pipe schedule, insulation and tracing, flange max allowable working pressure, warm-up procedures, line derating, coating requirements, NDE requirements, post weld heat treatment requirements, minimum design metal temperature, hydrostatic, pneumatic and service test requirements.- Other responsibilities included performing wall thickness calculations and assisting in the development of material selection diagrams and P&IDs.- Ensured all work is compliant with AMSE codes including B31.3, B16.47, B16.48, B16.5, B36.10, B16.11 and various ASTM material standards.

- Worked on site as a Piping Field Engineer during the construction of Imperial Oil's Kearl Fine Tailings Treatment at the Kearl Oil Sands. - Monitored and inspected construction operations to ensure compliance with design documents, codes, specifications and project quality requirements.- Responsible for the management of change process through the use of RFIs, Field Change Notices, Specification Deviation Requests and Non-Conformance Reports. - Prepared hydrotest packs, backfill releases, execution plans and equipment best practices. - Coordinated completion of piping construction activities, participated in system walk downs with clients, and completed all documents for final system turnover including redlined isometrics, pressure test certificates, ABSA AB-83s and weld, bond, fuse and bolt-up checklists.

-Worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern on the Cenovus Foster Creek Phase G and H SAGD plant expansions in the Cold Lake oil sands.- Planned, coordinated and prepared equipment work specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations and award recommendations for various mechanical and piping equipment. - Designed and specified equipment as necessary following industry codes and standards.- Reviewed all vendor drawings and documents for various equipment packages and corrected as necessary. - Worked with departments to develop PFDs and P&IDs.
