As an educator, the academic, social, and emotional growth of my students is always at the forefront of my mind. Through collaboration with all school stakeholders and the continuous creation and iteration of a challenging and engaging curriculum, I have elevated students' reading, writing, research, and critical thinking skills. Using a variety of metrics, I track and measure student achievement and modify content and assessments to optimize student performance. In order to engage students in the classroom, I design stimulating lessons that tap into their individual interests and abilities. There is always a way to bring out the best in a student if you have the perseverance and imagination to connect with them.
