Overall ownership of the end-to-end LGFS/LGFSD product and advised services proposition and delivery plan, taking an evidence based approach to meet the needs of target customers, consultants and partners. For each proposition, analyse the opportunity, recommend and specify the required solution, work across L&G product manufacturing and/or third party relationships to source a solution, write the business case to support the implementation of the solution, manage the timely and high quality implementation in line with and to budget.

Lead a team of Relationship Managers who predominantly work with partner accounts to identify and deliver an ongoing sales development strategy with the objective of maximising the return on new business income from specified distribution channels across all product lines.

Principle accountabilities:1. Reinforce strong relationships with account personnel in partner accounts by demonstrating an understanding of their culture, customers, structure, drivers, strategy and needs.2. Create, maintain and update Partner Account structures to ensure accurate and efficient coverage of advisers3. Deliver compliant approved presentations to the required audiences in Partner Accounts4. Ensure the appropriate levels of sales activity (as required by the Head of Sales) are met and are conducted to the required standard.5. Ensure the appropriate and accurate documentation of sales activity to be evidenced through the production of relevant and timely MI 6. Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant products, propositions and legislative requirements, both current and in the future.7. Identify, manage and mitigate all risks associated with the relationship development of partner accounts 8. Define, develop and deliver a plan to ensure relationship development activity is delivered in line with L&G’s Treating Customers Fairly Policy.9. Take the lead in all matters with regard to the management of employees ensuring that management discretion is used in a consistent manner and that the area follows the Group’s policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement to maximise business performance.
