At CTG we are specialising in Construction Management and the Technical co-ordination. Working in the early review of both major new development projects and refurbishment schemes. A role that has become an increasing request is to undertake an early review of whole schemes and the design to assess the post completion operational needs and functionality. Effectively, is the scheme achieving its intended target and use.Typically to assess this we review the initials goals and objectives and map these against needs covering access, logistics, security, maintenance & life cycle, MEP services, staffing levels and common day to day operational use. We work closely with the design teams to try and obtain the best for the development, end users and operations. Such scope has led to CTG-CM assisting in the hand-over from development to Operations and we can cover that sometimes difficult period between partial handover and full PC. For the multi occupational developments, we provide Life Cycle costing, Energy Audits and PPM costings to assist the development of Service Charge budgets.On Project work, we are spending more time on the day to day physical Construction Management, control and technical co-ordination, whether it be a refurbishment or a new development. We are using our near 40years in the construction industry to see the issues before they arise, consider options and alternatives, enhance quality and delivery.

During October 2015, CTG Surveyors amalgamated into Aston Rose. As Director of Building Consultancy I established a very strong Building Surveying team. Although departing full time employment with Aston Rose in July 2019, I continue to work with them on a number of joint projects.
