As a Project Manager and EIT at NMT, I assist in the design and manufacturing of some of the largest underground rail haulage systems in the world. My work has also included developing new technologies and products to further improve the way we mine on the surface and underground.My journey as an EIT began as a graduate from the Mechanical Engineering program at Carleton University and having a diverse working background in both government and consultative environments. I was fortunate to gain invaluable experience in engineering, architecture, construction, and municipal services. After graduation, I started my career in mining as a mechanical designer developing and reverse-engineering hydraulic cylinders for some of the largest players in the underground mining industry. This allowed me to gain the necessary skills to begin my career at Nordic Minesteel Technologies.
