I developed my strong sales and marketing foundation at the University of Denver by earning a BSBA in Marketing, followed by an MBA with a concentration in marketing. I jump-started my career in the outdoor industry when I launched a ski pole brand called Sick Stickz while I was a sophomore in college. Operating a business while in college allowed me to take concepts from courses and apply them directly to my business. Sick Stickz helped to develop my skills in sales, international manufacturing, business development, product development, marketing, and management. In 2012, I accepted a position as the National Sales Manager at a major outdoor knife brand called Outdoor Edge, and after 4 years, I was promoted to VP of Sales & Marketing. After growing Outdoor Edge's revenue 300% over 9 years, I helped sell the company to a private equity group in 2021. During the sale process, I assisted with creating a quality of earnings report, worked closely with our investment bankers to build a compelling presentation, and presented in management meetings to interested buyers. After helping to transition the business over to the new ownership, I left Outdoor Edge in 2022 to join Snap eHealth as the Chief of Business Development Officer.
