I know I look like a stereotypical accountant(!) but I like to think I break the mould with my client relationship building skills!After graduating from Leeds Met University in 2002, I joined the Naylor Wintersgill chartered accountants team as an AAT trainee and quickly progressed to training with the Institute of Chartered Accountants qualifying in 2006.During my time at Naylor Wintersgill, I've gained invaluable experience shadowing partners and developing relationships with many of the firm's owner-managed businesses. I've learned that choosing the right accountant is one of the most important decisions a business/individual can make and it should be a relationship that grows and matures over a number of years. I also recognise the value of "being connected" and having a strong network of professional colleagues which I continue to develop through my involvement with the Business Connections Bradford, the Bradford & West Yorkshire Societies of Chartered Accountants and as a presenter on the Goldman Sachs 10k Small Businesses Programme.I look forward to growing my network of professional contacts via LinkedIn.
