Develop public policy positions on regulation and legislation impacting investment management, the U.S. capital markets, retail and institutional brokerage, and technology.

Focused primarily on advancing the Congressman’s agenda on the House Financial Services Committee, assisting him in identifying, analyzing, and influencing complex legal and policy issues, including those related to Dodd-Frank Act implementation, housing finance reform, and derivatives market reform. Specific duties included analyzing and advising the Congressman on policy, drafting and advancing legislation, staffing the Congressman while at Committee meetings, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and drafting statements, questions, and correspondence on behalf of the Congressman.

Advised Congresswoman Kilroy during the conference committee that negotiated the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
