I have now taken on an EIR position at Eli Lilly where we are not only looking for good investments (of course) but also looking for disruptive business models for drug discovery. This is very unusual for a VC and why I was attracted to the opportunity. In short, I'm still very much in the small company milieu looking for next big things. We're also on the lookout for one external opportunity. Basically I get paid to do what I'd be doing anyways, but with people I like and deep pockets behind the ideas.
