When I was younger, I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up...heck, I still don’t. But what I DO know is that my true calling lies in supporting others to achieve their professional goals. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working for great companies and helping people advance their careers, and that has been incredibly fulfilling for me. By nature, I am a creative and eternal optimist. I am a brightsider - cup half full kind of gal. If you give me a problem, I will give you 10 new ideas on how we might tackle it. Nothing lights my fire more than facilitating team brainstorming, ideation, building enthusiasm, and flawless execution of our plan. Managing Recruiting and Sourcing teams over the years has been my greatest joy. Finding the needle in the haystack candidate for the most obscure role, and executing large scale hiring sprints has taught me precision as well as speed and efficiency. I thrive in cultures where teams come together to tackle big audacious goals. I pride myself on being able to operate at many altitudes. I have experience building long term vision and strategy, partnering with senior business leaders, and can operate as a player coach down in the weeds with the team when its needed. Just put me in coach! As a leader, I am bullish on professional development. I believe if you aren’t consistently sharpening your axe, you are simply becoming dull. I spend lots of time with teams building, refining, and perfecting our recruiting skills and processes, in order to earn our seat at the table as trusted advisors to our internal clients. I believe true recruiting is more than facilitating a process, but instead becoming an extension of each team we hire for, possessing a deep understanding of their unique business function, and advising and influencing on the talent market to make the right match for the long term.
