Every year, Next Canada selects 36 entrepreneurs to build Canada's next unicorn by providing venture funding, mentorship, and a world-class founder development curriculum.

Selected as 1 of 27 (~3% acceptance rate) high impact Canadian university students to attend a week long entrepreneurship bootcamp in the Silicon Valley (Squamish, BC this year), pursue a global summer internship, and join a network of changemakers.

• Improved agile workflow by communicating clear meeting goals and outcomes, implementing sprint velocity tracking, and monitoring improvements after sprint retrospectives, thereby increasing team cohesiveness and efficiency.• Soft-launched a prototype by collaborating with UI designers to create an interactive product demo experience. Efforts contributed to product and feature validation in early potential customers.• Built a custom Amplitude dashboard by breaking down user flows, defining KPIs and creating data visualizations; enabled the team to accurately track early user engagement and conversion metrics.

• Led an executive team of 10 students in maintaining club operations (i.e. supporting product teams, obtaining sponsorships) and influencing the long term direction towards increasing opportunities for lower-year students.• Spearheaded a field experience initiative by enabling student developers to experience the pain points that the partnering non-for-profit organizations were facing in their operations, resulting in an increase in user empathy and better user experience.• Generated opportunities for 50+ students in the community by organizing networking, professional development and team building events.
