During the summer of 2022 and my final collegiate year, I participated in Global Prairie's Junior Associate program. In this experience, I worked on internal projects including Global Prairie’s 2022 Impact Report, ESG research, and Global Prairie’s social media strategy. I also assisted clients such as FEMA and Google Fiber with executive communication, market research, and event planning.

Over the course of my three-month internship, I filmed interviews of UG Health Department officials and policy makers for a documentary on the county's COVID-19 response. I used ArcGIS Pro to develop a county-wide assessment of physical disability access on public sidewalks. Additionally, in the day-to-day responsibilities of this role, I sat in on meetings with Assistant County Administrators and other local government officials to learn about ongoing issues in the city.

As a member of the Spring Intern Cohort at Evergreen, I produced written content, researched policy initiatives, and cultivated media partnerships for the firm's corporate clients.

During the final month of Senator Jon Ossoff's runoff campaign, I recruited voters over the phone to attend crucial campaign events around cities in Georgia.

In this remote internship, I called voters for eight hours every week to gauge and build support for Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher's re-election to her second term in U.S. Congress. Congresswoman Fletcher is the first female and first Democratic representative from Texas's seventh district.

In this opportunity for undergraduate research, I assisted Dr. Ann Rowland—an Associate Professor of English—with her upcoming book, Keats Love, that discusses British poet John Keats' posthumous fame in the United States.

As the first global marketing firm that is a 100% employee-owned, a Benefit Corporation (B Corp), and a legally certified Public Benefit Corporation, Global Prairie partners with organizations who seek to make a positive impact on society. As a 2020 Summer Intern, I learned first-hand about the power of being a B Corp and the value of employee-ownership. I learned how to harness artificial intelligence to analyze data. And finally, I learned how to maximize the success of strategies utilized by organizations like FEMA and Evergy and community leaders such as Brené Brown to produce lasting and substantial change in various industries.
