AidData is a think tank that equips policymakers and practitioners with better evidence to improve how sustainable development investments are targeted, monitored, and evaluated. AidData's work crosses sectors and disciplines, and serves the unique needs of both the policy and academic communities. I contributed to building a sampling frame of more than 55 thousand people in 141 developing countries for surveys intended to understand the interaction between development organizations and policy-makers. - Cleaned data, created descriptive statistics, produced data visualizations, and conducted literature reviews for analytical reports. - Mapped political institution structures for more than 75 countries, many of which are predominately French-speaking.

Elected by my peers to represent the class of 2018 in the governing body of the students of the College of William and Mary, the Student Assembly, a group that writes and passes legislation as well as manages an annual budget of $750,000. Member of the Public Affairs Committee focused on engaging the citizens of Williamsburg and forming bonds between students and residents. Through this committee I assisted in organizing the first annual Tribe Turkey Drive, which provides families in Williamsburg who are struggling financially with Thanksgiving meals.

Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs) were established to develop comprehensive programs and plans to conserve soil resources, control and prevent soil erosion, prevent floods and conserve, develop, utilize and dispose water. Districts are political subdivisions of the state that manage conservation programs, employ staff and deliver conservation services free of charge. The focus of the Colonial SWCD is to educate the public on the importance of protecting the environment while working with landowners, government agencies, and developers to implement practices that preserve and protect our natural resources.Our mission is to educate the public on the importance of protecting our soils and water as the basis of our existence, and to work with landowners and operators, government agencies, schools, businesses, and civic groups to assist them to preserve our natural resources, especially soils and water. Use the funds entrusted to the District to provide technical and financial assistance as responsible stewards. - Reviewed environmental policies that affect the district with a focus on preventing further destruction of the Chesapeake Bay- Educated farmers and developers about tax breaks and grants available for implementing environmentally conscious practices- Engaged with and developed programs for local schools to improve environmental literacy and issue awareness

The StudentImpact is a state-register, non-partisan political action committee operated by William and Mary students to better the entirety of the Williamsburg community. We work to accomplish this goal by strengthening relations between students and residents in Williamsburg, advocating for the student population in local government, and encouraging our peers to become politically engaged.

The Economic Development Authority assists existing businesses, attracts new businesses, and markets Williamsburg as a premier business location. The EDA strives to be aware of the needs and concerns of City businesses and to identify, encourage and assist in the implementation of programs and activities that will contribute to the City's economy. During my time interning with the EDA I worked on multiple projects which including drafting a grant application for an enterprise zone designation from the state, wrote and recorded an audio tour for an art installation by Gilberto Aceves Nevarro throughout the City, compiled research and data for a new regional economic website, and communicating with city residents and businesses to get a better idea of how the city could aid businesses.
