Developing high-quality material for each bill including committee testimony, talking points, press releases, memos, graphics, and social media content. Overseeing the amendment process by coordinating with policy experts, stakeholders, administrative agencies, bill drafters, and other elected officials.•Led the Delegate's five-person team through policy research, press releases, newsletters, and constituent correspondence.•Managed the operations of a House subcommittee, including briefing the Delegate on potential agendas, coordinating the subcommittee's priorities with legislative leadership, tracking the subcommittee's 30 bills, communicating with subcommittee members, and scheduling meetings.•Administer the annual delegate scholarship by writing and publicizing the application, recruiting review committee members, overseeing review committee meetings, and ultimately administering $60,000 to 80-100 college students each year.•Wrote and published The Stewart Star, the Delegate's monthly newsletter, to an audience of 29,166 constituents.•Managed constituent communications and casework, including handling 170 individual cases with a 91% success rate.

Produced three exceptional, original policy kits on social housing, limited-equity housing cooperatives, and tenant protections. Conducted substantial research on national and international housing and landlord-tenant policy using academic databases, advocate publications, and interviews with national experts.

Drafted responses to constituents on a variety of policy areas and district matters. Researched legislative backgrounds and history to prepare talking points for Senator Smith. Communicated Senator Smith’s legislative priorities to constituents through social media and personal interaction. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my time at this position was cut short.

Designed graphics and promotional materials for League events, contributing to turnouts of over 70 people. Assisted in administrative tasks and communicated with volunteers about League priorities. Participated in the political advocacy process while learning about state-level government.

Served as the Anne Arundel County organizer for the campaign, which resulted in 4,638 doors and 5,260 phone calls made into the county. Trained, coordinated, and supervised an active volunteer base of 34 individuals, resulting in multiple shift commitments at an average rate of 2.94 shifts per volunteer. Had an overall completion rate of 62% for all volunteer shifts that were recruited during the campaign.

Spoke directly to potential voters to discuss policy concerns, the election, and to earn their vote for Rich Madaleno. Trained new volunteers and interns in technology and campaign policies. Completed 3 canvassing and phonebanking shifts per week, helping the field team meet weekly contact goals.
