About Colleen Hovinga

The line for the extra mile is usually the shortest. In my contract work and part-time professional roles, I support a variety of families, teams and individuals. Cultural Partners programs grew out of a project for my Master's Degree a few years ago. I have been fortunate to use that framework to train teams and individuals to develop or improve communication skills within workplace, community organization, and schools. I have experience on interpersonal and system levels for planning and programming.Just as music relies on different notes working together to create the harmony and to resolve the dischord within a song, PEOPLE of different ages, cultural backgrounds, genders, ethnicities, and abilities contribute essential "notes" and "chords" and "songs" to the music of teams and communities.
