I started my reprocessing career as Manager at St Mary's Hospital in Timmins of the Reprocessing department in 1989. I assisted in the move of the department to a new department at Timmins and District Hospital in 1993. I taught the Medical Device Reprocessing Course from 1990 to 2018 co-authoring the textbook and workbook used in many Colleges in Canada. I was a surveyor of reprocessing areas and operating rooms for 5 years for Accreditation Canada. I was the Director of Education for CAMDR for 4 years developing education modules with the education committee and vendors. I spoke both Nationally and Internationally at many conferences. I have performed auditing for many hospitals for reprocessing, endoscopy and the operating room and assisted in design, policies and procedures, education over my career.
