After studying abroad in Granada, Spain for a semester, I realized how much I want to pursue a career with international connections. This experience, along with my experience being an intern teacher at Thrive Lonsdale and immersing myself in this community of low-income, diverse, immigrant families, have deepened my interest for community development, specifically focusing on Hispanic populations. I love working with people, listening to their stories, and learning about different cultures. I am a very hard worker and will openly seek criticism and ask questions when needed. I strive to be the best in the work that I do. My major in Language and World Business with a Hispanic Studies concentration has opened up my eyes to doing business with different cultures and the implications that it brings. I have learned more about the fundamentals of business along with deepening my knowledge of cultural awareness. I would love to find a job that allows me to build relationships with people and serve a community while utilizing my work ethic and knowledge to benefit the company as well.
